 Health Care Matters, Winter 2009-10 now available
Hope you are having a happy holiday season!
The Health Care Council asks you to consider
contributing to help the California Health Professional Student Alliance
(CAHPSA) to participate in the January 11th legislative visits to
Sacramento. Last year more than 400 students from around the State carried
out 117 meetings with legislators in the Capital!
I can't think of a better way to help advocate for health care reform for all Californians, and the Council is contributing $500 of our very scarce
resources, and I ask you to join our treasurer John Davies who has already contributed, and join me as I try to match that $500 with contributions from
you all!
If you make your tax-deductible checks out to the Health Care Council, and
indicate "for CAHPSA" on the check, We would be most appreciative.

The Health Care Council Board of Directors meets at noon on the above dates. This is an open meeting - any Orange County resident concerned about health care is welcome.

The Health Care Council of Orange County was founded in 1986 as the Health Care Task Force. Incorporated in 1994, the Council became a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation in October of 1996. The Council is a free-standing independent community based coalition of the organizations concerned about health care and is funded entirely by grants, service contracts and contributions.
The Health Care Council gratefully acknowledges a generous grant from Hoag Memorial Hospital, Presbyterian to provide for this web site.
