Good News for Primary Health Care Students Scholarships are now available from the National Health Service Corps. You may be eligible if you are a special kind of person:
We are currently seeking applicants for our scholarship program who share our commitment to improving health care in medically underserved communities. Scholarships cover the costs of tuition and other expenses and include a monthly stipend. Upon completion of their training, students practice primary care in communities where the needs are the greatest in return for the scholarship support they received. Need more info? This conference has a reputation for excellence and is designed to meet the needs of health care professionals, including health educators and social workers. A quality faculty includes Robert Gallo, M.D., who will discuss immunology; Donald Francis, M.D. who will address the latest information regarding vaccines; and state of the art medical practice will be covered by Eric Daar, M.D. Breakout session topics will include prevention, women's issues, Hepatitis C co-infection, resistance geno/pheno typing, nursing and psycho-social topics and many more.
