The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Ready Campaign has released three new demonstration videos designed to highlight the specific steps older Americans, as well as individuals with disabilities and special needs, should take to prepare for emergencies.  Available online at www.ready.gov

COMPULSORY HEALTH INSURANCE?

Of all states, Massachusetts had the most favorable health care environment to enact an individual mandate to purchase private insurance. It is not working in Massachusetts, and the outcome would  be worse in any other state that tried the same.
